Something sure is strange here ...
I'm not sure anymore if Scott is for real. Maybe it's just someone "jerkin' my chain". If that is true, I am even more angry.
I know that everyone's situation is different. Some are chronics, some are episodics. Some meds work for one, others for another. Some meds work one time, but fail the next. Some of our loved ones are supportive, some are not. Some of us are depressed, some are hopeful, some are angry, some are ready to give up.
We have all come to this message board at different stages in our battles with the Beast. All are hurting, but need different kinds of help. We find a group here that we can feel free to laugh with, to cry with, to vent our frustrations. Sometimes this group is the only thing that keeps us going on with life. Sometimes, even we who suffer so greatly, fail to be as supportive of the others as we would like to be. But we keep on trying.
But, it seems to me, that the most important thing is that this message board conveys to all who seek us out that we are:
1. Fellow sufferers seeking solutions to alleviate our suffering, while supplying suggestions and support to others who suffer along with us.
2. A forum in which we can rage against the Beast in our moments of great pain and know that there will be others who understand.
3. A forum to supply additional data about our own individual situation in hopes that it will assist someone in finding a cure.
4. Fellow supporters seeking solutions to alleviate the suffering of our loved ones, while supplying suggestions and support to others who support their loved ones.
If we accomplish this, we will have done our duty.
That's my 2 cents worth for today.
