Since I have been on both sides of the fence, (had CH's for approx. 30 yrs. and my 28 yr old son is now in it's clutch and has been since age 17) I know from first hand experience that rule #1 is-stand back and watch the body language. Wait until the sufferer is coming down from the intense pain. Let them talk first. Have an understanding that when they need something, they will ask. Just be there for them.
Who says it isn't heriditary? Just like my congenital heart defect-my son has that also. Come to think of it, so does my daughter and she suffers from migrane---and my sister has a heart problem and migrane. The people in my immediate family without heart problems do not have headaches!
Oh where, oh where is the answer to this puzzle?
