With all due respect, to compare a speech impediment in an 8 year old boy to typing in all caps by an adult is a bit of a stretch. I have an 8 year old son and we can effectively teach him through the use of humor when he misunderstands or is simply uneducated about proper etiquette.
If Shawn was offended, I for one apologize. As stated before, I do hope he saw the discussion for what it was -- a simple attempt to let him know that we want to read what he says and that it would be helpful if he didn't type it in all capital letters.
