Yes, I am a patient of Dr. Robbins. His strength is that he is a headache specialist, someone who spends almost of his time treating headaches. That gives him a knowledge of headaches (chronic clusters in my case) which is beyond every other neurologist I have ever been to, except other headache specialists.
Robbins other strength is that he is more open to discussing and changing treatment than other doctors I have been to. Many other doctors get locked into a pattern like a neurologist (not Robbins) who once told me "Lithium and verapamil are the only preventatives for cluster headache. If they are not working then either the dosage isn't high enough or the patient doesn't have clusters!"
