Hi April, My experience with my husband is that when pain has been as strong as he'd never feel before, and he saw how the rest of the family were suffering with him, and he was not able to work, and he was not able to have social life, he begun to be very confortable going to see the Neuro. There is no other way to fight CHs than going to the Doctor and trying different meds till you find the one that works with you. Of course avoiding food and aditives that triggers attacks, like MSG, alcohol, etc...is very important too. Let me tell you that the one who has the problem is he and not you. Maybe you will have to tell him about.
