Hi All,
Hope you're all having a pain free moment. I wanted to ask
a question.
Does eating something help anyone else.??
I sometime treat the onset of an attack with food. I'll eat
a sandwich or have some salad. I'm not sure why but sometimes,
most times in fact it seems to set the headache at bay.
I've been doing this for a couple of months to try to reduce the amount
of drugs I'm taking. They make me cranky (the drugs I mean)
Anyhoo.. I just wondered if anyone else has tried this.
I had a theory that it only works because when you eat, blood goes
to the stomach and reduces your blood pressure for a while, so reducing the
pressure of blood-flow through brain. (But again as I have said before in my previous postings
here.. I'm not a doctor, and probably am no way near the real reason it works for me)
Have a pain free day :-)
