I was put on prozac 8 1/2 years ago due to a chronic depression. I never thought about it in relation to my clusters until now: my cycles used to be every 3 to 4 years, but until this year I hadn't had one in over 9 years, all the time that I was taking the prozac. That is, until now! My doctor said that she wouldn't prescribe the prozac for the headaches, or up my dosage, but that it could have helped keep them at bay throughout the years! This doesn't leave me with any hope for the future, since apparently any benefit has worn off, but it might help someone else for a time, as it did me.
