Unlike Dave, I don't remember my first cluster headache. My first memory of these things is sitting in the Dr's office, being prescribed Fiorinal and the mention of an EEG if they continued.
Like Dave, I do remember my worst headache. Since that headache, whenever another one hits, I think of that bad one and pray to God please don't let this one be like that one. 6'4", 225 lbs., proud, maucho, whimpering blob of jelly begging to the darkness to let it end. CH sure can put a guy in his place.
Dave - someday we'll be old men that don't get cluster headaches, then we can really start living.
