Your friend may have clusters but I think there may be something else. I've never heard of bleeding to be connected with clusters. A good start is with the ear, nose, throat doc. Also see a good neurologist. As for the sleeping, it also doesn't go along with cluster headaches. Most cluster victims learn to fear going to sleep because that is when most attacks happen.
