Do you have a counselor at your school? If so, try to talk with her. It may surprise you how much she understands. If you cry in her office, she won't tell your friends. She just might be the one who could translate your problem in a way your friends would understand and treat you better. Right now you need "on the scene" help more than you need my words. I hope you can look ahead believing you'll have lots of good times with your mother very soon. Don't let sadness affect your grades. Stay in school and keep up with your activities. That will make your mother even more proud of you. The children of CH sufferers have a chance to devolop great compassion. Many of them will become healthcare workers or maybe the researcher who finds the cure. Wouldn't we all be proud of you then. You are in my prayers. Love you both, Pat
