I think 2 days is not nearly enough time to coordinate such an effort. It would take a firm date at least two weeks (maybe longer) to accomplish this type of thing correctly. Everyone in the guestbook would have to be contacted, very time consuming and better accomplished with at least several people writing e-mails to the other CHer's and supporters. Confirmation from all those contacted might take another few days.
Columbus day weekend would be a nice target date and give everyone an easily recognizable day to shoot for as well as a three day window to accomplish their end of the task.
A month into the future (Halloween?) would seem even more reasonable.
