I respect what you're saying, but it seems to me there aren't many studies going on regarding cluster headaches at all, whether they explore the connections to yeast infections or not. The bits of info we do get are the by-products of migraine studies. This results in CH patients being lumped into subcategory of migraine headaches. I appreciate what you are saying, but as CH patients, we are frustrated with physicians withholding what is proven to work by case studies just because there is no "official" data to back it up. And that isn't nearly as frustrating as the constant lack of interest the medical profession is showing when we find somthing that DOES work. The internet has several cases where Diflucan is working. I guess my question is why ISN'T there a study going on? When several people are saying it's working from experience, why do we have to fight to get what we need? I think the question better asked isn't who IS getting relief from Diflucan, but who ISN'T. And since so many people are seeing good results, WHY on earth aren't the powers that be doing something to assist us in getting some relief that's treating the problem instead of masking the symptoms? It is becoming more and more frustrating to deal with the mentality that we aren't suffering that bad or that we don't know what we're talking about, especially when most of us sit in the office of specialists who know less about the headaches than we do. Could you please try to understand WHY people are making the connection to yeast and Diflucan instead of using some textbook response as to why you think it isn't possible? Why is it so hard for doctors to admit they really know so little about these things instead of trying to invalidate the answers we come up with -- especially the ones that are working?
