My son has finally found a neurologist who knows something about CH's, and because my son has a problem with 3 valves, he wouldn't even put him on Imitrex.
He's on Prednisone and lidocaine now . The Prednisone stopped the headaches on the 2nd day of this cycle, but the lidocaine did very little for the headache.
Holters are used to detect abnormalities and
arrhythmias (including Premature Ventricular Con-
tractions), and EKG's show structural damage as
well.Of course, there are other reasons to use
these tests. (Not a doc,just a victim of heart disease who has done a lot of research)
