After the initial problems on the board, I must say that the after shocks were enlightening. My faith is restored. Thank you all for giving me the time and space and humor to explain what might not have been said clearly the first go round. I had been here before, but because of the agony of doctors and brick walls in the medical community, I was feeling way too isolated to contribute in any way. I am convinced a friend, (no not the magnet friend), in Baltimore saved not only my life, but also my children losing a parent. I am not one to give up ever, and I did. She happened to call me the day after I had been to the ER and was told by the attending physician, that I would have to find a new place to get my fix. Under normal (?) circumstances I would have had his balls on a platter, but instead I caved in. Betty called my mother, my mother called the airlines and the next thing I knew I was on my way to the Johns Hopkins Chronic Pain Center where I was treated with dignity and as true pain sufferer. Now I have my life back and my children have their mother and I feel I am able to feel empathy again. I'm glad I'm welcome. OK, not such a short note. Thanks for listening. I'll be in touch.
