I’ve had as long as ten years between attacks. As a consequence, it took me thirty years to find out what the problem was, because I would forget that the clusters had happened before and I’d believe any crap that doctors told me, mainly that I just had an allergy that Actifed would cure.
I know that some of you are wondering, “How in hell could anybody forget cluster pain?” To that, I answer, “Who in hell *wouldn’t* want to forget cluster pain?” I kept thinking that it was just some kind of freakish thing that couldn’t possibly again. Who could believe that something as unbelievably agonizing as cluster pain would happen again, again, and again, except through bitter exoerience?
