I have been experiencing clusters for approx 15 years. For the first ten years I assumed that they where sinus headaches because I would experiece stuffiness and discharge from the affected side nostril; This caused both my doctor and I to treat them as such. After a while I began to notice the reoccurring pattern of the headache. I my situation I experience an average of two or three episodes a year lasting six to twelve weeks. The pain experienced during a cluster is almost impossible to discribe and especially to a person that has never experienced clusters. If you have been having reoccurring headaches to the same side of your head, then you may be a cluster sufferer. Discuss this with your physician and peruse this webside. The experiences of sufferers posted here are a wealth of information. I hope that you are only sufferering from the occasional sinus headache as I would not want anyone to suffer from clusters!!!
