At my regular TGIF joint last night, my friends inquired as usual about the progress of my current cluster cycle, and in the course of conversation I mentioned that we clusterheads were planning a convention next year in Las Vegas. This provoked some guffaws – what a scene that would be! – and Bill Mullen, a two-time Pulitzer Prize winner with the Chicago Tribune, imagined this scenario: All over the streets of Vegas, hookers are approaching likely prospects and getting only one response: "Not tonight, dear, I’m going to have a headache."
