I get migraines and clusters. I would have to say that clusters for me are worst. Migraines last longer it's true,and I get sick from them with vomiting. I find though that a shot of demerol will take a migraine away for me when they are at their worst. A shot of demerol with a cluster does nothing, except make me sleepier. I can still walk out of the ER with no problem after 175mg. and weighing 115 pds. The clusters at the longest take 24 hours to escape, but 24 hours is an eternity when you are it's prisoner. I think if someone was to force me to choose, I would take the migraine over the cluster. I don't get nightmares about them.
