Has anyone tried the new narcolepsy drug modafinil. It activates SCN and Raskin beleives this feedback loop is altered in clusters. Also, they just found a gene for sleep delay syndrome. It may be related and have mutation for SCN system. Who Knows yet. Have heard good and bad about radiofreq. and gamma knife and would like feedback. How about V.S. Ramachandran's (UCSD) therory of phantom pain. In other words if nerve is cut invadinding neurons in brain take over senation (pain) control and produce pain when area surrounding on somatasensory homugulus (remember college) is stimulated. Has not been studied in cluster's to my knowledge.
