Graham,

Well put. It is best not to drink in a heavy cycle. However, I have found in moderate to heavy cycles if I deink, I'll have a painfree day, or comparitively a pain free day the next day. Not always, so there is no cause and effect to prove. Nonetheless, one thing that I've learned about living with these (remember, I'm the one who never goes more then a month without one) is that you still have to make it through life and not trudging through it but enjoying it as well. In time your body will tell you when it's safe to do something or not. It'll be a subconcious message so pay attention to it. But I guess the main point is that these MFers are terrorists. And in living, either you let them win by controlling your life or you remain in control of your life. That isn't to say do things that will trigger them when you get the subconcious or concious messages. But it does mean not to give in and stop enjoying life.
