Well, my Doctors here decided to send me to the big island of Guam for an appt with a neurologist. Fortunately it's only a 30 min flight, so not enough to aggravate the beast. The first question he asked was, how do I know I have cluster headaches. I nearly got up, and walked out...however, I gave him a chance and he was very, very nice and by the time I'd finished he seemed a little bewildered by the fact I knew so much about CH!! I told him about my "Board of Friend" and he was impressed. Now here's where I need the advice from people I know & trust - he gave me two prescritions and told me to choose which one I wanted. 3 months supply of Topirimate or 3 months supply of Depakote. Right now I'm on Elavil, which he said I can keep on taking. Topirimate is 50mgs twice a day, the other one I'm going to have to get the pharmacist to read. I know I can probably find the answer in the archives, but quite honestly, my head hurt to much right now. Thanks in advance, to the only peopple I really trust to help me......Judi
