Your husband, if he is like me, will probably not want to go to the ER when the pain becomes severe. My advice is to go since you don't have anything to help. No one should have to go through the worst of these things. I'm not exaggerating when I tell you that this level of pain can be dangerous. In the ER, tell the doctor that you believe he has cluster headaches. They have oxygen that might work, and they have shots that will stop the pain. There is help.
