I worked for 13 years with chronics. Thinking back, I don't know how. Retired in 93, not because of CH, but to do some life ambition things. I paint--not houses--and write. Have sold a few prints but no profit yet. I write for a literary ezine and have been working on a novel for 2+ years. I think working is a good idea for a sufferer, because you can't give your life over to them. I know I'm luckier than most, in that the many preventives I have taken and the abortives I have now make the pains manageable enough to have a life.
