I hope I don't sound like I'm "coming unglued" or "losing my cool". And maybe I'm reading your post incorrectly; but I'm feeling the urge to defend Glaxo Wellcome for just a second.
You see, Glaxo Wellcome funded Dr. Goadsby's research. Dr. Goadsby is the only guy that I know that gave "two shits" about looking into researching Cluster Headaches. Glaxo Wellcome is the only Pharmaceutical Company that gave "two shits" about spending their hard earned cash on researching Cluster Headaches and not Migraines like all the other Pharmeceutical Companies. Dr. Goadsby and Glaxo Wellcome made me really, really happy with their decisions to spend cash and research Cluster Headaches. YA-HOO!
As a Cluster Headache guy myself, I also thoroughly enjoy Glaxo Wellcome's wonderful product called Imitrex. As far as I know this is the only product that they have that is designed for the abortive treatment of Cluster Headaches. Of course I could be wrong.
Thank you for that quick second of your time. I'm going to write Glaxo Wellcome a letter now and ask them if they would please give more of their hard earned cash to Dr. Goadsby. I'm hoping that maybe Dr. Goadsby will continue with his research and maybe find a really cool pill that you and I can eat that will make Cluster Headaches go away forever and ever and ever.
