I was given Periactin twenty years ago for CH. Had no effect whatsoever, good or bad. Was also given Darvocet and Tylenol with codeine as analgesics. Neither of which did anything either. Also caffergot, which (ditto) had no effect. I'm going to the neurologist this month for the first time in many years, and am hopeful that some of the newer stuff will work. We'll see. At any rate, I'm episodic and outside a cycle, so I won't have to experiment for another couple of years if things go the way they have so far.
