I thought I had finished my last series of attachs (April thru July) and then wanting to celebrate with friends for Labor Day I had steak marinated in a heavily MSG dosed sauce and one glass of red whine. WOW! It hit me square betweeen the eye (singular). Unexpected and a 9. I thought I was carrying a coupla Caferot tabs (just in case) but I couldn't find them. What a come down. Prior to the attack I had drank about 12 glasses of water (still fearful of a sneak attack) but that wine/MSG combo blew the lid off. the following night was okay, but gawd what a bummer.
So I guess its stay alcohol free for me. I don't believe I have ever had such a reaction to MSG.
Oh well. Another leasson learned.
