Sorry about your hard headache! I'm one of the lucky dogs who experiences no side effects from imitrex at all, but my doc advised me to watch out for dizziness or tunnel vision when I use it. He said since it constricts lots of blood vessels (including the coronary arteries and some of the supply to the head) that it can induce a fainting spell or even a heart attack if you're already predisposed to such things.
You might want to relate your blackout to the doc next chance you get, maybe have an arteriogram to check out your pipes? Just a suggestion!
