Several years ago. I lived in SIngapore, and had access to an excellent acupuncturist. I went twice a day for two weeks, and he put most of the needles in my scalp, as I was in such bad pain. I honestly don't think it did anything for my headaches at all, but it did give me a sense of well being. I was and still am game to try anyting, and have tried many "alternative" methods and and am sorry to say, that the good old hard drugs work for me. Imitrex injections for aborting the pain, and 100mgs a day of amatryptalene have knocked my headaches down to one every three days. This is something I can live with, four headaches a day. I cannot. Yes, Imitrex is expensive and amatryptalene feels like I'm talking to people through a 7" thick plate glass window. I just hope, that each CH is my last one for this cycle...no such luck yet. Having said all that, acupuncture and herbal products may well work for some....sadly, it just didn't for me. Best of luck in your search for some relief. Judi
