What got my attention was the mention of ulcers causing a buildup of histamines, affecting blood chemistry, affecting blood vessels, stretching nerve endings, blah, blah, medical blah, blah... I went to the emergency room on New Year's Day, 1998 for food caught in the esophagus (sp) and the surgeon put a light and camera down there to see what was stuck. He told me my duodenum and stomach were full of ulcers. I got the full antibiotic treatment to cure the ulcers and went into remission on CH. I didn't connect the two events, but was just happy to be cured of ulcers and free of CH. For 16 months. Now, they're back. I have to wonder if I have ulcers again. Has anyone seen a connection between antibiotics and relief from CH?
