I used to notice that the migraines were better after a cluster episode. I have never noticed any connection to migraines increasing right before the clusters come back...my clusters just seem to come out of nowhere!
Funny thing is that my episodes got closer (1 year) than farther apart (about 18 months) this last time. Go figure.
What I do notice is a sharp increase in migraines during the cluster cycle along with the shadows. Usually they are only homonal. Do clusters have any hormonal connection?
I am 52, by the way, and have not gone through menopause as yet.
