dennis, i used verapamil for a few years, both alone then with depakote. i suffered no side effects, or restrictions, driving etc... but others may have. if imigran in the uk, is the same as imitrex in the us, then they serve different purposes. the verapamil is to prevent the headaches. imitrex is to stop one that has already started. the injections, or the nasal spray work great for me. oxygen is much cheaper here and works very well for me, except for the worst ones. what do you use to stop the pain once a headache starts?
