I am going to attempt to respond to your post in a professional and respectful manner. I am afraid, though, that I will have to make several assumptions. First I will assume that you are "Donna" and that you are also "dmg". "Donna" who wrote this post and "dmg" who wrote the post about not having a Cluster Headache since having a hysterectomy. I will also assume that when you mentioned Dr. Goading that you really meant to say Dr. Goadsby. I will also assume that by "jokes" you meant to use the word "humor".
I think surveys of fellow Cluster sufferers are a great idea. I agree with you. I think everyone inviting his or her Neurologist to this web-site is also a great idea. I agree with you.
For information and articles pertaining to Dr. Goadsby; simply "click" on the tab to the left marked (Headache links) and then scroll down to (Cluster News) and there are several articles dealing with information on Dr. Goadsby's research.
Sometimes when I respond to a post or write a post I will use humor in my writing. I do this so people won't think that I am "wound-too-tight" or that I take things too seriously. I want people to not feel that they have to act politically correct with me or pull punches with me. It's so much easier for me to communicate when people just say what is on their mind. I am glad that you are also not "thinned skinned".
Some people did state their experience with Clusters and Hysterectomy surgery in regards to your first post. And some people made comments with humor. I enjoyed both.
Please continue to post. I know I will. I believe that just the "thinned-skinned" and "tightly-wound" people stop posting. I hope you have a great day. If I am wrong in my assumptions; please let me know. Bye, for now.
