Help - What is Feverfew ?

My 'Concise Oxford Dictionary' of 1964 vintage states:
feverfew - A herb formerly used in medicine.

I'm sure, not all of you are using medieval witchcraft, so please could someone tell me about this plant?
Of special help would be if someone knew its scientific name or even how it is called in German.
