I haven't read all the posts on this yet, but I do want to comment.
Back in 1979-81 while they were misdiagnosing my headaches, I was thoroughly trained in biofeedback. It was really neat to learn how, no matter where I was, to accurately tell the outside temperature along with the temperature of my fingers. I knew when I was stressed and I could virtually eliminate that stress. I was REALLY good at that stuff.
However, I could relax myself in any situation EXCEPT when having a CH attack. I found that trying biofeedback techniques at the first twinges of the attack didn't help me either. I know now it was because biofeedback trained me to warm myself -- dilate my blood vessels. I need just the opposite of course.
