My husband was prescribed Midrin by his general practitioner who referred him to a Neurologist. We go on the 2nd of September. His cycle (3 weeks) may be over, however, as he hasn't had a headache in 7 days (yea!). He has been taking Midrin about 3 times a day anyway. I'm not sure if it's a preventive or not. This is the first cycle he's had in over 7 years!! And 7 years ago was his first bout with these monsters that lasted only 10 days; so we're new at this. We're learning alot and hope to have alot more information after our appointment. We know they'll be back. Questions is "when". Good luck to you.
