new process to END the suffering forever?

my neurologist referred me to a ear, nose, and throat specialist who said if i can come into his office and have a headache right there, he can determine the exact location of the pain with some sort of numbing device and then ZAP the nerves dead. no more pain. ever. i don't know any more of the details of the procedure, so does anyone else?
