Hello JJ, Don't give up, i have dealt with ch's
for 24 years, some more sucessful that others.
In 1995 in was in the same spot, a 10 month run
of 6/8 episoped per day. 12 weeks in hospital(s),
on morphine pumps, at home was taking 6 imitrex
a day and my doc threatened to cut of my script.
We finally broke the cycle and went on 100 mg of
Serzone daily and dove into alternatives. I am
of the old school (41y/o male) and was skeptical
but found much sucess in a program developed by
a Jon Cabbot Zen for chronic pain control that
combines yoga and meditation. It has been a great
tool to incorportate into my live. Thrown in
acupuncture and herbs and I have been ch free
for almost three years. I know that at some point
they may/will return and this time I am prepared
and have some good basic tools. Meds are great
but when you find yourself so full of chemical
sh*t you can't understand how your body is able
to function you may wan't to explore other poss-
abilities. Hang in knowing you WILL have good
days! SP, the hand book by Jon Cabbot Zin is
titled "Full Catastrophy Living" a good read.
