I was on twice the dose of you(60mg a day)of Prednisone for 5 months and lived to tell about it. It did nothing for the clusters (two different cycles). The first cycle she tried a taper (twice) so I guess when the next cycle came back she tried to kill me.
Put on lots of weight, moon face (most of which hasen't gone away), got cataracts in both eyes, thinned my skin, dented my nails, couldn't sleep and stopped my own system from working (immume system).
Went to another doctor and he said I was steroid poison so they back me off slowly. It took a few months for my immume system to start working on its own again.
I never went back to that neuro again. Nor do I care much for neurologists.
