I am not qualified...but you do have clusterheadaches. Sorry.
Strangely enough, small quantity of alcohol will induce an extreme attack for me. Massive quantities will give me a small hangover but no cluster for 24 to 48 hours. (I now try not to drink at all during a cycle and follow my neuro recommendation).
Sometimes, 5 X 100mg of B2 (rhiboflavin) + 400 mg of Magnesium will give me a break. But no use to do it daily. It's like a jolt that tricks your system only once in awhile.
Also, I strongly recommend that you do not chew gum with artificial sweeteners or any diet soft drink. I found that this would induce more attacks for me and more powerfull ones.
I too was an unknowing clusterhead who found this site and had a hard time translating 'clusterheadaches' to my family doctor who tought I had some kind of Migraine.
Thanks to this site, I requested and obtained a fast appointment with one of our top 'migraine-headaches' neurologist. It took him five minutes to decide I would be one of his 400 cluster patients.(He's been practicing a long time). Since I was in a cycle he put me on a prednisone diet, and I will have an MRI in the next two weeks to eliminate other possibilities...
Tonight I am pain free I am happy to report, first really good evening in many weeks...and no beer tonight.
Michel, in Quebec City.
