I'm a switcher too, usually in separate cycles but did the left side - reght side crap many times when I was chronic. The left would build to an 8, terrorize me for about an hour and then while it was winding down the right side would kick in. I've only had 10s on the right side and believe me, it's ugly. I don't think it has anything to do with chronic/episodic. The last cycle was left, the one before was right. Good luck to you both.
