Ok kids, Migraines are NOT Clusters. We know there is a difference. We've had Migrainuers here before and we've tried to help them find their way to a migraine page where THEY could GET the HELP they needed.
I don't really think we're trying to be rude to people with other ailments, we just don't want OUR site becoming a ALLPAIN.COM board. We DO need to stick with CH. If someone with migraines has a question about the symptoms of CH or migraine, then they're free to ask. BUT if they want to tell us what "cured" their migraines, then that we DON'T need, don't want to hear and ain't gonna put up with.
We've been here to support each other through attacks and have done a great job of it until recently when all the bull has been hitting the board. I agree with Elaine, I MISS the OLD Clusterheadaches.com board with all the support and stories we had only a few months ago.
But in the past few months, I've noticed a lot of the more "vintage" posters have started NOT posting much for some reason. Could it be that there just too much "bashing" going on for no reason? Or could it be that there are just too many "non-clusterheads" getting on our board that the subject has changed from Cluster Headaches to Anything Goes, Noses Out of Joint, My Way or Nothing and Let's See Who We can Bash Today?
We've had lots of squabbles and disagreements in the past, but what's going on now is just too ridiculous for words. Here we are with a 1/2 a page of arguments on whether or not we should welcome migrainuers. I agree with the "old guard", they're welcome to drop by and say hello, but as Margi said several months ago to one migrainuer, "If you'll take my arm, I'll escort you to a migraine website where YOU can get some help!" I personally think we should all do the same.
Hugs BD
