I have been suffering from CH since I was 6 and they called it 'ear infection'...at 19 the diag. was 'migraine', at 32 FINALLY it was CH. I am extremely intermittent but currently in my third week of a cycle I know will last 8 weeks.
45 now and a recent visit to a Neurologist got me an MRI because he is afraid I may have AVM (Arteriel Veinous Malformation) which has a history in my family...would I not be welcome to visit this site with my pain if this turns out to be the case? I hope that isn't what you are saying because all these years I was alone with this 'headache' and only recently found you guys (thank you DJ).
I assure you the symptoms I have, the nights of sleeplessness, the clockwork-like visits from this monster and the pain I feel is at least "almost" the same pain everyone visiting here feels.
Suffering is suffering no matter how you look at it.
However I can also guarentee my support, my empathy and all my hopes for your pain to one day be cured (if the drug manufacturers ever get on the ball) is the very same as you'll get from anyone else out here.
But keep in mind the law of the jungle is you reap what you sow. I have always found it best to be compassionate whenever possible. So I suppose my question to you would be "Where do you draw the line?"
