The printing press of old may be replaced by the printers that many of us have in our homes and offices. How about an online booklet..'I am Joe's Cluster Headache'.. (not sure about that word 'headache' to tell you the truth). There could be many ways to produce an online booklet. (Why are there no monuments to committees?) But we could work together somehow to produce this online booklet and all participants and viewers could have the ability to print it off and distrubute it.
Our local libraries here in Canada are getting online. Even the smallest library that is only open 6 hours per week has computers online for the use of their clientele. The libraries themselves could print the booklet and put it on the shelf. All library systems have a central command..one call to there and all branches could be instructed to print and shelve the booklet. Also, as individuals, we could simply print it off and distribute the booklets to local libraries, hospitals, clinics, doctors' offices, dentists and pharmacies.
I have no idea about copywrite/right requirements. It's a bit like worrying about the mice stealing Warfarin. I see no need to get too formal here..a volunteer group at a free website..?.. Most of the world is more web savvy than me..any ideas out there?
DJ has taken the initiative himself (thanks guy) and given us this website and i feel that he is doing way more than his share, as well as Steve over at the Clusterheadache Homepage, (thanks to you many times over) so we might look for an independant location to collaborate.
Well, that's my 2 cents worth. Any other opinions out there?
