Many of my friends do get carried away at times (bless 'em!), but regardless of gerbils, dog farts, etc., they are some of the best people you'll meet.
As to cigarette smoking (don't know about other stuff), I quit smoking 9 years ago, cluster intensity reduced for a few years, and then they disappeared altogether for 5 years. HOWEVER, they are back again and I'm not smoking anything.
