Wow!! I cannot believe i've found a site where everybody else suffers the same symptoms as me. I am a male , 40 years old. I have suffered from Clusters since the age of 16. I've been reading the notes and its amazing how many of us suffer the very same symptoms.What most amazes me about migraines is the fact that , so many people have these same symptoms but no doctors are even close to being able to tell us why.
My migraines start like everybody elses, most occur just as i have relaxed from a nights work { i work 3rd shift) Like everybody else , when im in my cycle, i dread going to sleep, its seems to be when i get most of them. 99% of mine happen just once a day, but my migraines tend to last from 4 to 12 hours...and on average of 6 to 8. They tend to start off by getting 1 a week then progressing to 2 , 3 , 4 , 5 , 6 , 7 a week and then they will go back the other way 7, 6 , 5 , 4, 3, 2, 1 and then i may not experience any for anywhere from 6 months to 1 1/2 years.
I find that an icepack helps me sometimes, i also find that taking a really hot bath will help also but nothing helps as much as what im getting ready to tell you. I hope whoever runs this board understands that i'm only trying to help and that this isnt a hoax. I have actually found that SEX will make the headache go away. I wont go into details , but i have found that any kind of SEX will work. I do not know why it works and maybe it only works for me.
I would like to get some feedback on this subject.
