I was able to get Maxalt, which has been out now for about 5 weeks for migraine and cluster sufferers. It worked very well for me with O2. You can use more of it -- up to 30 mg per day. I started taking 5 mg doses at a time, knowing I'd have two more hours befor I could treat with it again, but it seemed to work. Then I knew I would have more dosages available to me over a 24 hour period. It comes in pill or oral dosages. I stopped having the full blown clusters using Maxalt & O2, which seemed to limit this bout to 4 weeks instead of 6-8. Maxalt felt better to me then Imitrex. I am now experiencing daily shadows (constant dull-sharp pain at the epicenter of the cluster), but I think it might be over! I hope this information helps some of you. I personally will not take pregnisone, though I understand that we all make decisions based upon what's happening in our own lives. I hope that this helps.
