Hello everyone,
Left work early today. The beast hit me around 2:30 and is still with me. Not as bad as an hour ago, but still here. This is just a release for me. I can talk to folks who know. It helps me feel better just to talk. Arguing about god is not what I had in mind. I have been doing some serious thinking about headaches and clusters and migraines. I have a couple things to throw on the table since I'm in pain and have nothing better to do.
I have wondered for a long time if there is a link between migraines, clusters and alzheimers. I know 4 different people from different families that are in nursing homes, all have alzheimers. Here is the catch. All of them suffered migraines or clusters most of their lives. I would be interested in hearing any comments or research.
Second, my brother had a stroke a few years back and since he has had trouble with all the meds he has had extensive blood work done. Since then we have found some amazing things. He was found to have a certain blood disorder. Nothing major but they told us everyone in the family should be checked and get on med if needed. They found two chemicals in his blood that is common if you have one or the other. It is rare to have both. Everyone in my immediate family checked as having both, except for me who has neither. How this happens they couldn't really explain. We are still trying to get answers. Maybe my mother had a thing for the milk man, I will never know. However I am the only one that suffers from CH. Could there be a link here also? I do wonder. Would the neuro listen to me? Not likely.
I have given you all things to ponder, and at the same time have relaxed enough to make my head feel even better. Just being able to ramble on is a big help. No noise, no distractions, just me and the key board and hopefully a few listeners. I will be on here a lot since my cycle has just started. It has been a good release for me.
Once again I love this place and to anyone in pain, hang in there. We can all work for a better tommorow. Some day we WILL conquer the beast.
