I am in the middle of my cycle.. and found that the CH
seem to develop a pattern of around 2pm, 6pm, 1am.
My Dr. only gives me cafergot in prescriptions of 12 pills at a time.
If I go to sleep with cafergot and lortab, I seem to
sleep throughout the night. I would take another cafergot
at 2pm just when the "shadow" develops. The cafergot seems to
abort the CH from developing full bore. My Dr. says
I use too much of the cafergot. My feeling is if
sucking on a brick would abort a CH I would do it all day long.
I start to worry when my bottle gets to 2 pills left, then I
deal with my dr lecturing me as I ask him
to refill the prescription ( every 4 to 6 days).
I seem to have lost the nausea associated with the cafergot
but it does not do anything for me other than giving
me relief. Has anyone heard of a dependancy on Cafergot
or any other ergot-based drug?
