Thanks for the pronunciation instructions. You're right, I'd never thought of using Guy Lafleur as an example - thanks! (I actually met him once, such pretty eyes....) Um, anyways, the reason for my post...
I should clarify the light sensitivity issue. When I see an attack coming on for Mike, I automatically turn down the lights and noise (I guess that comes from my own experience with migraines) and come to think of it, he never turns them back on. As Trent said, the steady regular light isn't necessarily excruciating for Mike but to sit in front of a computer screen with that type of flickering light would end up with either Mike or the computer flying out the window. So I guess he does have light sensitivity now that I think about it. Just not to the same extent that I did with migraines.
I do, however, firmly believe that my husband could cheerfully and easily produce a 25 pound baby without blinking an eye compared to the pain he goes through with CH.
Hope this has helped some people to distinguish the difference between CH and migraine.
