Hi Riccardo. I take 100mgs of elavil (amyltriptilin ?) as a treatment in conjunction with Verapamil SR ( Calan),a calcium channel blocker, 380mgs and effexor XR 225mgs. The elavil, a tricyclic, certai knocks me out at night. My doc says it helps raise seretonin levels and thus helps with CHs. But the verapamil SR is my primary drug for CHs-it might make up for the 70 percent because I have been pain free when I started Verapamil. Just A thought
